Beautiful photo Matt. I love scenes like this, but then you know I love fast water too. :)

WoW! That is gorgeous! Sometimes I am just overwhelmed by the views God has put on this planet JUST for our pleasure! And I bet I never would have seen this one without your help! Thank you! :) (it is SO perfect it almost seems like it was designed for a movie!)

Hey all, thanks for stopping by MTMD and taking the time to comment on this photo.

This was the most breathtaking spot on the entire 5 Day Salmon River Trip. I wish you all could have seen this in person, no photo can do it justice.

What was amazing about this place on this day was the weather changing rapidly. It went from clear and sunny to overcast to thunderclouds to downpour to rainbows to clear skies all in about 90 minutes.

I'd've had a pic of the rainbow, however it was near sunset and I didn't have my camera handy since this storm also arose in the middle of preparing dinner and all of us were being used to batten down the hatches from the 50 mph wind gust-driven sandstorm and rain.

We did lose our appetizers that were set out prior to the meal, but God bless the Dutch Ovens--entrees and veggies were cooked to perfection save inside those cast iron beauties.

Tricia--The Salmon has it's share of fast water. You would be in heaven there.

Feedscott--Anytime, brother! I'm actually going to try to organize a blogger rafting trip in West Virginia this July. We'll see what the interest is.

Mr. Fab--Really? I thought that Florida was more your style.

Melli--Thanks for stopping by! Yeah, I get overwhelmed too: Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows, Crater Lake, Mt. Rainier, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island, Lake Michigan, The Rio Grande Gorge that The Shuttered Eye has up on his blog right now, and the list goes on and on and on.

Ocean lady--where was that place?
